Testimonials

"Hi! I just have to share this with you. My family has a history of osteoporosis. It runs at least 3 generations. I have been on medication for osteopenia for at least 8 years. My visit to my doctor and had a bone density test showed very stable and in some parts of me slightly elevated bone density. So she advised me to discontinue medication and we will monitor it. I told her about our classes. She highly praised our daily classes as instrumental in this good news. Thanks so much!"

"I started my fitness journey when I decided I needed to be more focused on improving my strength, flexibility and wellness. To accomplish that I needed a personal trainer to ensure I stayed disciplined and would provide direction so I could get the full benefit of each fitness session. I've stayed with the program for several years. The sessions are never boring, always productive."

-Jeff - Personal Training Client

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your part in helping me be the strongest and fittest I've ever been. I joined my wife last Oct/Nov in the daily 8:00 a.m. workouts, and have pretty much continued non stop. I came out of the winter in my best physical condition, ready for full on bike season. Daily biking was added in April, putting in nearly 700 miles in April. Unfortunately, I had a bit of a construction-type accident on May 31st, bruising my left-side ribs pretty significantly. Not broken, but very painful. I had to stop all workouts for a couple of weeks before leaving for our son's wedding in CO. I finally got back on the bike for a trial bike ride on the 16th in Denver, and a more rigorous one in Estes Park on the 20th. I left Northfield on the train for Whitefish, MT on the 24th to ride my bike on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. I did 6 days on the route from Whitefish south with a group, covering 250 miles, camping along the way. I was able to complete each day successfully and strong, in many parts, thanks to you. Yes, I did the work, but without your daily guidance on strength and conditioning, I definitely wouldn't have fared as well. So thank you! You make a difference, and I appreciate you."

ABOUT ME

Welcome!

My name is Kaethe (KAY-tuh) and I want to welcome you to Kaethe B Fitness.

I discovered my love of group fitness when I was in college and I began teaching group classes on campus (hello Step and Hi Lo Cardio!). I changed my focus to fitness and planned to continue my education. But as can happen, life got in the way and fitness moved to the back burner.

A few years later I got a gym membership, began working with a trainer, and rediscovered my love of fitness, this time with weights and building muscle. And again, life got messy. I got divorced, moved to a new state, became my mom's roommate (at 35!) and started working on getting my life back together.

I recertified as a fitness instructor and began teaching classes again, went back to school, and certified as a personal trainer. I began to focus my education and training on the 'active older adult'. Women and men who have retired or are close to retiring, have time to travel, and want to stay active and pain free.

My goal as an instructor is to make my workouts available and open to as many people as possible. Do you have to be 'old' to do these workouts? Nope! Are these workouts going to be super easy? Again - Nope! The great thing about them is you can make it easier or harder based on your skills and abilities. So give them a try. I'd love to have you in class!

Frequently asked questions

Great question!

The majority of my classes are set up to be accessible for all levels and abilities. I primarily offer low impact workouts, but I also demonstrate higher impact, higher intensity and more difficult options. Many classes also involve exercising on the floor. I do my best to offer options for those of you that prefer to not get on the floor. You choose what works best for you!

I am also working on adding some Workout Calendars, which will allow you to select a program geared towards your goals and specific needs. Examples will include Beginner, Interval Training, Express, Cardio Kickboxing, Muscle Building, No Equipment, Circuits, Mobility and Stretch, and Chair Based programs.

Great question!

  1. For livestream classes -

Go to the schedule and click on the class you are interested in. This is where you'll find the class description, and a list of any equipment that may be used during that particular class.

  2. For On Demand videos and Class Replays -

Go to the Video and Course Library and click on the video you want to watch. The description includes an equipment list. If you want a more advanced search, you can use the Filters at the top left of the page. You can filter based on class Length, Difficulty, class Format, Equipment used, and Cost.

Support from members and students helps me continue to provide free and low cost workouts on this site, Youtube and Facebook, as well as upcoming equipment reviews and programming. Thank you!
